Finding Beauty and Other Intangibles: A Collection of Poetry and Prose

Finding Beauty and Other Intangibles is a collection of poetry and prose that examines beauty and other intangibles, with the goal of bringing to light the fleetingness of outward appearances. Beauty is a mystery that dwells within the spirit. We should not look for it with an eyes of vanity but rather with an eye of authenticity. The soul must search deeper than just what the eye can see. Although written for my granddaughters and other young girls coming of age, I believe this collection is relevant to people of all ages.

The Jukebox Boys and Other Boyhood Memories: A Collection of Stories and Poetry

The Jukebox Boys and Other Memories of Boyhood is a collection of stories and poetry written by B. Ellen Gardner. Ellen takes the reader down memory lane as she brings to life universal themes symbolic of boys as they grow to become young men. Ms. Gardner compares boys to songs on a jukebox. The Jukebox Boys and Other Memories of Boyhood is written with humor and tenderness as Ms. Gardner recalls the memories of watching her own grandsons grow. The stories and poetry are certain to resonate with all of those who have had the privilege of seeing young boys grow into gentlemen. It is a collection that will be read and reread for years to come.
